Introduction

The club is located at Kidurong, Jalan Tanjung Kidurong, Bintulu.

Bintulu Golf Course has 18 holes covering a total area of about 59.611 hectars or 147.301 acres with its fairway stretching for 6148 meters or 6726 yards in length.

The constuction of the Golf Course was a joint effort by the Government, Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) and Malaysia Liquidified Natural Gas (MLNG) with Government contributing 5 millions ringgit, BDA 5 millions ringgit and MLNG 1 million ringgit.

Bintulu Golf Club was officially open on 5 July 1996 by YB Tan Sri Datuk Amar Wong Soon Kai, was then the “Timbalan Ketua Menteri dan Menteri Pembangunan Infrastruktur dan Menteri Pelancongan Sarawak”.

The Bintulu Golf Club is directly under the jurisdiction of the Bintulu Development Authority while its management and administration are under the Club’s Governing Board and Management Committee.
